The angular Houses are reputed to be the most important in the cycle and at the level of our personal incarnation, having said that it is obviously important to understand that all have a capital function and are part of an indivisible Whole, and that we need , according to the different moments, of each of these energies.
Houses of Fire: houses of life dynamics:
House I: the subject, life as such
House V: life through works and children
House IX: spiritual life (astrologer Jean-Baptiste Morin de Villefranche called it "life in God")
Houses of Earth: houses of physical things (and sometimes results):
House II: possessions
House VI: duty, the obligations of daily life
House X: honors
Houses of Air: houses of relationships (and sometimes supports):
House III: the close environment
House VII: the partner
House XI: friends
Houses of Water: houses of psychic things (and sometimes obstacles):
House IV: the family, the roots
House VIII: crises
House XII: the “Test of the Closure” (closing of the cycle).
There is an additional distinction between the so-called Angular Houses (I, IV, VII, X), the so-called Successor Houses (II, V, VIII, XI) and the so-called Cadent Houses (III, VI, IX, XII).
House I (angular of Fire): identity in action (the way of being)
House II (successor to Earth): need for material security (the way of possessing)
House III (cadent of Air): learning at the social and intellectual level (the way of communicating)
House IV (angular of Water): action at the level of the soul and emotions (the way of being rooted)
House V (successor of Fire): need for security at the level of identity (the way of loving)
House VI (cadent of Earth): learning through direct experience of material affairs (the way to serve)
House VII (angular of Air): action at the social and intellectual level
House VIII (successor of Water): need for security at the level of the soul and the emotions
House IX (cadent of Fire): learning at the level of identity (by widening the field of consciousness for example)
House X (angular of Earth): action at the material level
House XI (successor of Air): need for security at the social and intellectual level
House XII (cadent of Water): learning at the level of emotion and soul.Article Last Updated on - 19.12.2024
